Co-Q 10  (CO-Enzyme Q 10)

What is Co-Q 10? A co-enzyme helps enzymes work. Enzymes are specialized protein that make sure things get digested in a hurry and break down certain types of poisons as well. The healthy, well nourished liver normally manufactures Co-Q 10. It is a waxy, oily substance made by the liver ready to help an enzyme work. As we abuse our liver and get older, the liver gets "lazy" and does not use protein and healthy oils in the right way. The liver makes less Co-Q 10.

What does Co-Q 10 do for the body? It keeps energy flowing to the heart and nerves protecting them from damage and destroys "free radicals".

What natural sources of Co-10 are available? Most sellers of Co-Q 10 use the leaves of tobacco plants, fermented sugar cane and beets. For those of us who like to get our Co-Q 10 directly from nature and not from laboratories, there are five very rich sources in the herbal world. They are Easy Co-Q-10, Alfalfa, Rice Bran, Wheat Germ, and Garlic. Note: when you suppress the liver's natural production by taking a chemical cholesterol lowering drug you also suppress the liver's natural production of Co-Q 10.

Dog Bites

Immediately clean out the bite with peroxide and cover the area with clean bandage, gauze, soaked with Oil of Cajeput. Change the wound bandage covering every twelve hours.  Oil of Cajeput is related, in function, to "Tea Tree Oil", but the action of Cajeput is preferred by a great many herbalists. The Cajeput tree does not fall prey to fungus or infections because of the antibiotic oil which circulates in its sap (circulatory fluid). This oil can be taken by people for the same purpose. If the dog has or is suspected to have rabies use Scullcap to take care of the virus caused by rabies. Whenever a person sees the suffering of hypertension or stress, Scullcap will ease the physical effects. It has been used for treating the bites of mad dogs. From this the determination of this herb once called "Mad-dog" Scullcap, can be seen. A highly desirable side effect from long-term use is repair of the nervous system itself. Nervous twitches and nervous irritation are a specialty of Scullcap.

Fibromyalgia

What is Fibromyalgia? Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread pain in the muscles, ligaments, tendons and multiple tender points where places on the body, even with slight pressure, causes pain. Fibromyalgia suffers have an increased level of certain chemicals in the brain that signals pain (neurotransmitters). The brain's pain receptors seem to develop a memory of the pain and become more sensitive. Tender point locations include: back of the head, between shoulder blades, top of shoulders, front sides of neck, upper chest, outer elbows, upper hips, sides of hips and inner knees.

What symptoms are associated with Fibromyalgia?  Chronic pain in the muscles, muscle soreness, stiffness, fatigue, sleep problems, and painful tender points at certain parts of the body. Fibromyalgia symptoms often begin after certain infections, a physical shock or emotional trauma.

Who is at risk for developing Fibromyalgia? Fibromyalgia occurs in about 2 percent of the population in the United States. Women are much more likely to develop the disorder than are men. Many people who have Fibromyalgia also have co-existing conditions of chronic fatigue, depression, endometriosis, headaches, irritable bowel syndrome, lupus, osteoarthritis, stress disorder, restless leg syndrome and/or rheumatoid arthritis.

What natural remedy is used for Fibromyalgia?  All Cells Salts, E.H-T, Red Clover Blended, or Scullcap  are several natural remedies to correct the condition of Fibromyalgia. Use Arnica Oil Blend, Big Five Plus Two or Wintergreen Oil, externally to promote faster healing and reduce pain. For needed minerals include V.M.-W. To help with the condition of fatigue and increase needed energy use Three Bees. To remove any viruses or bacterial infections use Bee Propolis. For multivitamins use Vita-Lixir or Formula M.

Flu, Bird Flu, Swine Flu, or any Flu or Cold

What natural remedy are there for the flu virus? F.& F Flu and fever combination provides oxygenating, pain relieving, and decongestant qualities. This antibiotic and cough remedy combination, has to be experienced to truly be appreciated. For more-or-less instant relief from the miserable feelings accompanying flu and fever F. & F. is a strong ally in your time of need. Add I.V.Y-D daily for it's wonderful viral fighting attributes.

Suggestions to help fight the flu: Use one teaspoon or more of Bee Propolis and one teaspoon of Olive Leaf every four hours while awake. One teaspoon of Astragalus and one teaspoon of Bonset taken the same way eliminates viruses. If fluid build in the lungs, take one teaspoon to one tablespoon of Pleurisy Root every four hours while awake. Drink plenty of real juices and spring water to flush out poisons, nourish and prevent dehydration. Peppermint tea is great for upset stomach. One teaspoon of Peppermint Extract to a cup of hot water. To breath easier use one of the following externally; Eucalyptus, Oil of Cajeput, Peppermint Oil, or Wintergreen Oil. Keep the bowel working properly and eliminating virus and germs from the body with one of the following: Buckthorn,  Cascara Sagrada, C.C.E.-W, Marshmallow, or Turkey Rhubarb.

Suggestions for vitamin, mineral, and immunity for prevention of infection: To strengthen immune system use one of the following; A.P.-W, Astragalus, I.M.S.-W, Juniper Berries, Reishi Mushroom, or Una de Gato. Always keep your body well supplied with plenty of natural vitamins, minerals and trace elements. by using one of the following; Formula Max, Formula M, or Vita-Lixir. Vitamin C should definitely be a part of your herbal program such as Wild Rose Hips, or Acerola Cherry Extract

Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease

What is Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease? It is a viral infection caused by a strain of Coxsackie Virus. It causes a painful blister-like rash that occurs on hands, feet, and in the mouth. Not to be confused with Foot-and-Mouth Disease, human Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease is different than Foot-and-Mouth Disease, which is an infection of cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, and deer and is caused by a completely different virus.

Who gets Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease? Usually this virus affects young children, but may occur at any age. It appears most often in warm weather, usually in summer or early fall. It often occurs in small epidemics where children are gathered, such as a school. It is not unusual for more than half of the children in the same area to have the virus at one time.

How is it spread and what are the symptoms? The virus is spread by direct contact with the nose, throat and saliva discharges, blisters, and the body's elimination of infected people. Symptoms of fever, poor appetite, runny nose and sore throat can appear three to five days after exposure. A blister-like rash on the hands, feet and mouth usually develops one to two days after the initial symptoms. The blisters are filled with a clear fluid that contains the Coxsackie Virus and are very contagious. The blisters occur in the mouth (with some forming shallow, painful ulcers that may look similar to canker sores). On the palms of the hands and soles of the feet and less often on the buttocks, upper arms, upper legs, or genitals. It is also possible to have an infection with the Coxsackie Virus that only causes the blisters to form in the mouth and not on the hands or feet. This infection is called Herpangina.

When and how long can someone spread the disease? A person is most contagious when the first symptoms appear, but also continues to be contagious for several weeks after the blisters go away. The virus has been known to be shed in the body's elimination process for up to several weeks. The illness is usually mild, complications are rare. More serious infections have been see recently with a certain strain of Coxsackie viral infection in Indonesia. Most children only get Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease once, as it is found that most adults are thought to have become immune in early childhood, but a second episode is possible from a different strain of Coxsackie Virus. Children who feel ill or have symptoms of the Coxsackie Virus should be excluded from group settings until the symptoms are gone and child feels well. Through hand washing and care with diaper changing practices are important as well.

What natural remedy is used for Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease? Bee Propolis can handle even resistant strains of viral, bacterial, fungal or microbe type problems. It is one of the most powerful antibiotics in nature. The key to Bee Propolis with Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease is it's superior ability to work with viral infections. Additional help with pain reliever such as natural Willow and drink plenty of fluids when the fever is present. The best fluids in this case are cold milk products, especially ice cream. Many children refuse juices and sodas because their acidity causes burning pain in the blisters. Also a salt-water mouth rinse of 1/2 teaspoon of salt to 1 glass of warm water may be soothing if the child is able to rinse without swallowing.

Leukemia

What is Leukemia? Leukemia is cancer of the blood cells. It starts in the bone marrow which is the soft tissue inside the bones. Bone marrow is where white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets are made. The root cause of Leukemia is the need for cleaning and detoxifying the bone marrow, blood stream and lymphatic system. We also must eliminate viral, fungal and/or bacterial infections in the blood. One cause may be lacking proper nutritional elements to the body and bloodstream, thus setting the stage for "bad cells" type problems.

What happens when you have Leukemia? The bone marrow starts to make abnormal white blood cells, called Leukemia Cells. They grow much faster than normal cells and do not stop growing when they should. Over time Leukemia cells crowd out normal blood cells and can spread to lymph nodes or other organs causing swelling and pain. If the body makes too many white blood cells it feels like it is under attack. The question is what is the invader? Is it the body itself? It is very important that we clean the blood stream of any waste materials that microorganisms throw off or acids that build up in the body, that might keep the white blood cells from doing their job properly. Once this waste matter and poison is cleaned from the body's system, the white blood cells will then be able to do their job of simply eliminating things that would harm the body, and the proper levels of white blood cells will be restored.

What symptoms are associated with Leukemia? Fever, night sweats, headaches, bruising or bleeding easily, bone or joint pain, swollen or painful belly from enlarged spleen, swollen lymph nodes in armpit, neck or groin, lots of unexplained infections, fatigue, loss of appetite and losing weight.

What natural remedy is used for Leukemia? Lapacho or Red Clover Blended are know for eliminating "bad cells" from the blood stream, lymphatic system and the entire body creating healthy bone marrow and soft tissue. Use B.P.-W to clean and normalize bloodstream providing nourishment for bone marrow, red and white blood cells. I.M.S.-W is recommended to build a good immune system and neutralize all manner of poisons, bacteria, viruses and fungus. Bee Propolis is a powerful antibiotic, anti-putrefaction and free radical removing agent which coats and prevents dead and rotting cells from spreading in the body so they can safely be removed. For multivitamin and mineral supplement Vita-Lixir or Formula M is recommended.

Lyme Diseases

What is Lyme Disease? Lyme Disease is the most common tick-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. Borrelia Bacteria is transmitted to humans by the bite of infected ticks belonging to certain species of genus Ixodes (hard-bodied ticks). Lyme Disease causes a virus in the body and the virus leaves a poisoning effect that begins to take away the body's mobility.

What symptoms are associated with Lyme Disease? Early symptoms of infection may include fever, headache, nausea, jaw pain, facial paralysis, light sensitivity, red eyes, muscle ache, stiff neck, bone pain, joint pain or swelling, carpal tunnel syndrome, fatigue, depression, and skin rashes. Left untreated, late symptoms involving the joints, heart, and nervous system can occur. Fewer than 50 percent of people bitten recall a tick bite or rash.

Many people who have Lyme Disease have been misdiagnosed with: Arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, gastro esophageal reflux disease, multiple sclerosis, lupus, Alzheimer's Disease, Crohns Disease, irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, bipolar disorder, depression, sleep disorders, thyroid and other various diseases.

What natural remedy is used for Lyme Disease? Rub Black Cohosh on the wound several times daily to take out the blood poisoning side effect of the virus.  Black Cohosh and Wild Rose Hips internally to kill the virus and eliminate the poisoning effect in the body it causes.

Mesothelioma - Asbestosis Lung Cancer

What is Mesothelioma? It is a disease in which a cancerous tumor grows on the sac lining of the lung or abdominal cavity. Mesothelioma is sometimes referred to as "Asbestos Lung Cancer" however it is not the same as lung cancer. Lung cancer occurs inside the lung itself while Mesothelioma occurs in the lining of the lung. Mesothelioma is rare, striking fewer than 3000 Americans each year.

What is the difference between Pleural Mesothelioma and Peritoneal Mesothelioma? Pleural Mesothelioma is an aggressive form of cancer that starts in the chest, in the pleural that surrounds the lungs (outer lining of the lungs and internal chest wall). It makes up about 75% of Mesothelioma cases. Peritoneal Mesothelioma starts in the lining of the abdominal cavity.

How is Mesothelioma contracted? Mesothelioma is caused by asbestos exposure. Asbestos, once regarded as a miracle mineral, was popular due to it's lightweight, but tough characteristic and heat-resistant properties. Asbestos was used in many commercial and consumer products from construction materials such as cement, roofing shingles and insulation, to consumer and industrial applications such as hair dryers, automobile brake pads and pipe insulation. Most people with malignant Mesothelioma worked on jobs where they breathed asbestos. Other were exposed to asbestos in a household environment often without knowing.

How much exposure does it take to get the Mesothelioma? What is the latency period? Very little exposure can result in Mesothelioma. Sometimes people who worked with asbestos for as little as one or two months contract Mesothelioma. The "latency period" refers to the time between asbestos exposure and diagnosis of the disease. For Mesothelioma the latency period can be decades long and people exposed in 1940, 1950, 1960 and 1970 are just now being diagnosed.

What symptoms are associated with Mesothelioma? Shortness of breath, persistent dry cough, fatigue, night sweats, fever, pain under the rib cage, swelling or lumps in the abdomen, abdominal pain, digestive disturbances, anemia and unexpected weight loss.

What natural remedy is used for Mesothelioma? C.H.E.-B Chest Elixir provides rapid recovery of chronic lung problems. C.H.E.-B heals wounds, repairs broken blood vessels and lung tissue, rids the body of asbestos poisoning and chest infections, powerful antiseptic/antifungal active against all types of viruses, respiratory decongestant, controls mucus in breathing passages, expectorant and oxygenator. Red Clover Blended or Una De Gato will rid the "bad cells" from the lungs, lining of the lungs, abdominal cavity and dissolve tumors anywhere in the body. Formula Three or I.M.S-W is recommended to increase energy and build immunity levels to help your body fight the infection of overtaking cancer cells.

Multiple Sclerosis

What is Multiple Sclerosis? Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system, which is made up of the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. Multiple Sclerosis is thought to be an autoimmune disease in which the body's own defense system attacks myelin (the fatty substance that surrounds and protects the nerve fibers) in the central nervous system. The nerve fibers themselves can also be damaged. The damaged myelin forms a scar tissue called sclerosis, which gives the disease it's name. When any part of the myelin sheath or nerve fiber is damaged or destroyed it interferes with the transmission of nerve signals between the brain, spinal cord and other parts of the body. This disruption of nerve signals produces the primary symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis which vary depending on where the damage has occurred. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis vary from one person to another.

What symptoms are associated with Multiple Sclerosis? Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. Over the course of Multiple Sclerosis some symptoms will come and go while others may be more lasting. Some of the more common symptoms include fatigue, numbness, walking and balance problems, bladder, bowel, and/or sexual dysfunction, vision problems, dizziness and vertigo, pain, emotional changes, and depression. Less common symptoms include speech disorders, swallowing problems, hearing loss, seizures, tremors, and breathing problems.

How many people develop the weakness of Multiple Sclerosis? There are approximately 400,000 people with Multiple Sclerosis in the United States and 200 more are diagnosed every week. Multiple Sclerosis is 2 to 3 times more common in women than men.

What natural remedy is used for Multiple Sclerosis? What must be done to correct the condition of Multiple Sclerosis is to repair the insulation (myelin) on the surface of the brain and spinal cord. Just like with an electrical cord, the insulation can get worn off and short circuits can cause big problems. Lecithin is an internal nutrient normally made by the liver, however the liver may not make enough due to poor diet, stress which causes a lack of Vitamin B, and chemical cholesterol lowering drugs. Lecithin will repair and replace the old damaged insulation on the brain, spinal cord and nervous system. Peanut Oil,  Almond Oil, or Vitamin E Oil Capsules should be applied and massaged to the entire length of the spine from the tip of the tailbone on up and onto the back of the neck. Apply the oil the width of the person's hand. This application will nourish and coat the nerves. Other nutrients to consider are Bee Propolis to eliminate any viral involvement, Black Cohosh to detoxify poisons in the nervous system, Rice Bran to protect the brain and nerves from free radicals and provide B Complex Vitamins to help reduce stress, B. & B.-W to repair nerve tissue and restore balance, and Vita-Lixir or Formula M for multivitamin and mineral supplement.

Sars  (Sudden Acute Respiratory Syndrome)

What is Sars? This disease attacks the respiratory (breathing) system of a person and can become a life threatening problem. The acute part means rapid onset and the problem may result from a brief high intensity exposure to someone with the illness. The syndrome part means a group of symptoms (signs) running together that make up a "picture" of a certain "disease". Sars is caused by virus. A virus is an infectious agent, smaller than most bacteria, and it needs a living cell to invade and live in to be activated and work it's mischief.

What happens in the body? Sars virus finds weakened or "dirty" cells in the lungs to enter and multiply. The virus destroys cells in the lungs and then the process of putrefaction (rotting) occurs. The lungs draw in fluid to dilute these poisons. All this cuts down on the amount of oxygen the lungs can take up. Breathing becomes labored and the person's temperature climbs. If the lungs need to be oxygenated, strengthened and cleaned.

What natural remedy can be used for Sars? Open capsules of Vitamin E and apply the oil all over the chest. This oxygenates the lungs and body. Next apply liquid Pleurisy Root Extract to the entire chest. This helps to drain the excess fluid from the lungs. Then apply liquid extract C.C.E.-W (Cleansing-Corrective Extract) to the lungs and abdomen. This will clean the lungs and the wastes from the bowel. Then apply Oil of Cajeput to the chest. Oil of Cajeput is an antibiotic and will destroy fungus as well as relieve discomfort. It also opens the air passages which makes breathing easier. It's scent is pleasant. Finally, apply Herbal Adjustment slip on an old wet white T-shirt. Use cold water to wet the T-shirt. Next, take a plastic trash bag and poke holes for the head and arms. Pull this down over the body. Go to bed, cover up and sweat it out. *In severe cases apply all the above liquid extracts and oils to the back area where the lungs are located.

Throughout the day, while sweating, drink 1 cup every three hours of warm tea made from Yarrow extract. This will replace body fluids. Continue until the "sweat out" process is complete. The tea can be prepared by adding 1 tsp. of Yarrow Extract yo 1 cup of either distilled water or a good spring water. While sweating, the infected mucus may begin to be coughed up. The temperature should drop, the lungs should be cleaned out and the process is then complete. Repeat if temperature begins to climb again and cough becomes tight.

Shingles

What is Shingles? Shingles is a disease caused by the same virus that causes Chickenpox. If you have had Chickenpox the virus can live but remain inactive in your body for years. If it becomes active - usually later in life the Chickenpox virus can give you Shingles. This condition usually results from severe nerve stress resulting in a Vitamin B Complex deficiency. Irritating nerve acids are produced and thrown off as the nerves try to nourish themselves on the normal blood sugar.  Without the proper B Complex of vitamins, they can not do so properly and acids are formed. This is why you see the painful skin eruptions following the nerve branches.

What symptoms occur with Shingles? You may feel burning, itching or tingling in the area where a rash will form. A few days later a painful, blistering rash that can appear anywhere on the body. Typically the rash will occur on only one side of the body and usually last up to 30 days. For most people the pain associated with the rash lessons as it heals. For some people Shingles may lead to a long-term pain that can last for months even years. This is known as Postherpetic Neuralgia (PHN). Complications include scarring of the skin, bacterial skin infections, decrease or loss of hearing or vision, paralysis on one side of the face and muscle weakness.

Who is at risk of having Shingles? Anyone who had the chickenpox virus, increasing in age, a weakened immune system or experiencing severe nerve stress is at risk for developing Shingles. 1 out of 2 people living to the age of 85 will experience the condition of Shingles. It is estimated that 1 million cases of Shingles occur in the United States each year and one half of these cases occur in adults over 60 years of age.

What natural remedy is used for Shingles? To correct the irritating nerve acids thrown out in the skin you need a high dosage of Vitamin B Complex. Use one of the following B Complex Herbs: Rice Bran, Brewer's Yeast, or Bee Pollen.  Use Vitamin E Oil Capsules, break open and apply to the problem area externally and a gauze or mist from a spray bottle of Burdock and Yellow Dock to the area for repair. Alfalfa is used to neutralize the poisons and acids and flush them from the body. During this time try to avoid the source of stress your are experiencing, all acid foods, such as oranges, grapefruits, tomatoes and their juices, soda pop, coffee, commercial sugars and white flour products.

Valley Fever

What is Valley Fever? Valley Fever is a lung infection caused by a fungus somewhat like yeast or mildew which lives in the soil. The tiny seeds, or spores, become airborne and are inhaled into the lungs, where the infection starts. The spores are hardy forms of the fungus that can live for long periods of time in harsh environmental conditions such as heat, cold, and drought.

Where is Valley Fever Found? It is commonly found in the soil of Southwestern United States, Mexico, and parts of Central and South America where temperatures are high and soils are dry.

How long does it take to develop symptoms of Valley Fever? It normally takes between one and four weeks for symptoms to appear. There are two forms of Valley Fever: (1) Pulmonary form involves an infection of the respiratory tract (lungs and airways) with symptoms typical of a common cold, coughing, pneumonia-like symptoms, labored breathing, flu, lack of appetite, ect. that can last for over a month and tiredness that can sometimes last for longer periods. If the pulmonary form goes unnoticed the infection can continue to develop lung and tissue damage, pneumonia, and possibility affect other parts of the body. (2) Disseminated form is when the spores spread beyond the lungs through the bloodstream, typically to the skin, bones, joints, kidney, liver, nervous system, and the membranes surrounding the brain, causing meningitis. Of all the people infected with Valley Fever only a small percentage develop the disseminated form, which is devastating and can be fatal.

Does everyone exposed get Valley Fever? Your chances of getting Valley Fever are about 1 out of 33, but the longer you live in the Desert Southwest the higher your chances of infection. It is estimated that about one third of the people in the lower desert areas have had Valley Fever at some point. There are about 100,000 new cases of Valley Fever each year. Persons whose activities put them in contact with the soil appear to have a somewhat greater risk. The young, the old, and those with lowered immune systems are also in the high risk group. While men are at greater risk than women, pregnant women are especially vulnerable, particularly in the third trimester. Once infected, persons of African, Filipino and some other Asian ancestries seem to be at a greater risk of contracting the more serious, or disseminated form of the disease.

Is Valley Fever contagious? No. Valley Fever is not contagious from person to person or from animals.

Can my pets get Valley Fever? Yes, animals contract Valley Fever by inhaling spores distributed by wind, digging in the dirt, or uprooting plants.

What natural remedy can be used for Valley Fever? C.H.E.-B Chest Elixir combination for rapid recovery of chest discomfort and other respiratory complaints. C.H.E.-B contains (Coltsfoot) for chest infections, (Astragalus) as a powerful immune system builder, (Olive Leaf) renowned for it's ability to kill viruses and bacteria, (Eucalyptus) to help prevent infections from spreading and chase away fevers, (L.-W) repairs and strengthens lung tissue and is especially helpful for damaged and congested lungs, and (Bilberry) for natural Vitamin C, zinc, iron, manganese, and selenium. *Extra Suggestions a complete all vegetable multivitamin and mineral source: Formula M (for women) and Vita-Lixir (for men and most children).

West Nile Virus

What is West Nile Virus and where does it come from? This is a parasite which poisons infected life forms. Birds get infected with it and when mosquitoes bite those birds the mosquitoes, in turn, bite people, horses or other warm blooded life forms, thus passing the virus on to them. Before the virus came here through New York City in 1996, it was common to Africa and then moved into the warm areas around the Mediterranean Ocean. The West Nile Virus is in existence in all U.S. States.

What happens if you get infected with West Nile Virus? The first signs that appear in people who have been infected are a rash, headache and a general sense of "not feeling well". Please keep in mind, however, that there are other things that can cause these symptoms. The rash that you may get from West Nile Virus may not be in the area where the mosquito bite actually occurred. As the disease progresses, there can be a high fever, sensitivity to light, and brain inflammation. Look for Signs of a stiff neck and accompanying soreness. The end result of these poisons from the virus can be fatal to a person, horse or other animal unless they are remedied in time.

What natural remedy can be used for West Nile Virus? The American Indian remedy for all kinds of poisonous bites, fever, chills, and stiff or sore neck was and still is Black Cohosh. To use Black Cohosh externally, apply it liberally to the entire spine, neck, and temples as needed. If you are working with an infected horse, apply as close to the skin as you can. Apply from below the eyes down to the nose as well. Take Black Cohosh internally with each meal to eliminate accumulated poisons and prevent a reaction to the mosquito bite. Add I.V.Y.-D with Black Cohosh daily for its wonderful viral fighting abilities and help with clearing the poisons out of the body. Wild Rose Hips  should be added for its vitamin C, fighting virus and infection attributes. Another remedy of great assistance to dissolve poisons in the same manner as Black Cohosh is Virginia Snake Root.

Other steps you can take to prevent the onslaught of West Nile Virus include: applying drops of Oil of Cajeput to the skin as a repellent. Be sure to "deep the bowels open" as to eliminate poisons and give frequent liquids to keep poisons diluted and prevent dehydration. Another helpful hint would be to use 1 teaspoon of A.C.S (All Cells Salts) per cup of water or diluted juices.

      Caution

Do not get any liquid extracts or oils in the eyes as it will cause sensation of stinging and/or great heat. Be reassured tissue is not being destroyed, but if you don't know that you might panic. If any fluids should get into the eyes, flush immediately with water. Be patient and peace will return.
